A local tea master will demonstrate a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. The Japanese Tea Ceremony, also called the Way of Tea, is a ritual involving ceremonial preparation and presentation of a powdered green tea, matcha. You will learn about the specific utensils used, as well as movements involved in the tea making ritual.
